How to Avoid Blues Turning Purple
In the printing world, blue is close to purple in the CMYK color spectrum.
When using equal parts cyan and magenta, it will print purple even though it appears blue on screen.
The best way to avoid an undesired purple in your printing design is to utilize a small percentage of magenta when a heavy percentage of cyan is used.
We recommend using 30% more cyan than magenta to avoid turning purple.
